How to play
- Press Start SuperTux Party, then New Game.
- Press Choose character to pick yours. Then press Start: bots fill the empty seats.
- On your turn, press Space or click to roll the dice. The game tells you what to press at each step.
- Collect cookies, buy cakes and win the minigames.
Controls and display help
Player 1: arrow keys move, Space confirms, V, B, N and M are the action keys, Escape pauses.
Player 2: W, A, S and D move; U, I, O and P are the action keys. Players 3 and 4 use gamepads.
In the lobby, each extra player joins with their own button.
On phones and tablets, on-screen buttons appear during the game.
Use Chrome or Edge on a computer. Requires WebGL 2. Phones, gamepads, Firefox and Safari have not been confirmed yet.
How to play online
Two to four players in lobbies on this site's server. Each one joins from their own browser.
- Press Start SuperTux Party, then Play online.
- Choose Source Quest from the server list.
- To host, press Create Lobby. Give your friends the join code, or turn on Public Lobby so it appears in the list.
- To join, pick a lobby from the list, or type its code and press Join Lobby.
- Each player types a name and picks a character. Whoever created the lobby presses Start; bots fill the empty seats.
Anyone who does not respond within 30 seconds is removed from the game. Whoever created the lobby can change that time or turn it off in the lobby options.
Online play: tested with other players; it is playable, though it still has some bugs.
The first start downloads about 160 MB; later starts reuse the browser's cache.
