The game language is applied at the next start. The original game supplies its own translations; custom demo content may remain in English.
The browser uses one GPU for all pages. On Windows and Linux, the operating system chooses it. After changing it, fully close the browser, including background processes, reopen it and reload this page. Your dedicated GPU should appear here.
Windows 10 and 11
- Open Settings › System › Display › Graphics.
- Find your browser in the list. If it is missing, add it with “Browse” (Chrome:
C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe). - Open its options, choose “High performance” and save.
Another option in Chrome or Edge, if Windows has no GPU preference set for the browser: open chrome://flags/#force-high-performance-gpu (Edge: edge://flags/#force-high-performance-gpu), choose “Enabled” and click “Relaunch”. Some laptops also have a manufacturer GPU mode (MUX or “dedicated GPU only”) that routes everything through the dedicated GPU.
macOS
- Apple Silicon Macs (M1, M2…): there is a single GPU; nothing needs changing.
- Intel Macs with two GPUs: choose “High performance” in the GPU selector above and reload. To always use the dedicated GPU, disable automatic graphics switching in System Settings › Battery › Options.
Linux
- GNOME or KDE: right-click the browser icon and choose to launch it with the dedicated GPU.
- NVIDIA with the proprietary driver:
prime-run google-chrome, or__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia __VK_LAYER_NV_optimus=NVIDIA_only google-chrome. - AMD or dedicated Intel GPU (Mesa driver):
DRI_PRIME=1 google-chrome.
- Open
chrome://settings/system(Edge:edge://settings/system), enable “Use graphics acceleration when available” and restart the browser. - If the issue persists, open
chrome://gpu: if it says the GPU is blocked or disabled, update its driver.
The addresses chrome:// and edge:// must be copied into the address bar; a web page cannot open them.
Controls and display help
Automatic quality: integrated and entry-level dedicated GPUs start with low textures, shadows, water and effects. Settings saved in the game's Options take priority.
Internal fullscreen resolution: 1920 × 1080; scaled to fit your screen while preserving the aspect ratio.
Fullscreen captures the mouse so all four edges work with multiple monitors. Escape releases it; click the game to capture it again.
The first start downloads about 2 GB of game data; later starts reuse the browser's cache.
